Job description

The Grand Traverse County Road Commission of Traverse City, Michigan, is seeking a File Clerk to provide clerical support to scan and digitize paper documents. Years of road project files are tucked away in boxes, waiting to be placed on the scanner and converted to a digital life, where they can be observed and live unencumbered by cardboard walls. You can set these files free!

The ideal File Clerk will have a passion for organization, an eye for detail, and the tenacity to take on daily monotony for the end goal - file freedom! Organized digital files will allow engineering and operational staff to access previous road project files with ease.

Part-time flexible work options are available for this position. The key to success in this job is progress and accuracy.

This position requires on-site attendance, the ability to lift and move file boxes, and commitment to completing the job.

This is a temporary position, expected to last about 6 months.
