Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a student file auditor for our trade school.

This position is responsible for reviewing and auditing completed student financial aid and student record files after students graduate or withdraw from the program. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review closed-out student files uploaded into the Klassap system
  • Audit financial aid and student record documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify missing documents, discrepancies, or compliance issues
  • Maintain and manage an audit tracking spreadsheet updated by the Student Services team
  • Communicate findings and necessary corrections to appropriate staff
  • Ensure student records are organized and compliant with school policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information at all times

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience with administrative, compliance, auditing, or student records preferred
  • Familiarity with financial aid documentation is a plus
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and document management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written communication skills
