Job description

The Cottner Firm is a plaintiff personal injury law firm representing individuals injured in motor vehicle collisions and other negligence matters. We are seeking an experienced and organized part-time Litigation Paralegal to assist with active litigation cases from filing through resolution.
Responsibilities
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence
• Manage litigation deadlines, court filings, and calendaring
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, discovery, and trial preparation
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and expert scheduling
• Review and organize medical records, billing records, and case documents
• Prepare document productions and discovery binders
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and court personnel
• File documents through Nevada state and federal e-filing systems
• Maintain organized electronic case files and litigation tracking
Requirements
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of prior litigation paralegal experience required, preferably in personal injury litigation
• Familiarity with Nevada court rules and e-filing procedures preferred
• Strong writing, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
• Experience drafting discovery and litigation documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Trial preparation experience is a plus
