Nature & Scope:
Positional Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Claims Assistant to support a busy claims department during a peak operational period. This fully remote role is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to claims staff, processing documentation, and assisting with customer service functions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in Spanish, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
  • Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system
  • Input and review claim notes, diaries, and documentation as instructed
  • Process claim-related payments accurately and efficiently
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying documents
  • Prepare, create, review, and distribute letters, reports, and forms
  • Answer inbound calls and initiate outbound calls as needed
  • Schedule medical appointments and assist with general customer service inquiries
  • Support claims staff with administrative projects and reporting tasks
  • Maintain organized and accurate claim records and documentation
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of computer-generated reports
  • Support the organization’s quality standards and service expectations
Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience required
  • Claims or insurance industry experience is a plus
  • Fluent Spanish proficiency required (must be listed on resume)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and general computer applications
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and performance expectations in a fast-paced setting
