Job description

Great opportunity for a college graduate or someone seeking job stability, who would like a full-time entry-level legal position in our growing, Probate, Estate Administration, and Estate planning AV-rated law firm in North Scottsdale. We are seeking a File Clerk who is professional, organized, knowledgeable, dependable, who enjoys learning and working hard in a team environment and wants to grow within a company.

We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits program including paid medical/life/disability insurance, paid vacation and additional time off, as well as a very attractive profit sharing/401(k) plan.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility for the firm’s file management
  • Pulling and organizing files
  • Filing of documents
  • Open, scan, and distribute incoming mail
  • Process outgoing mail
  • Backup to receptionist (greet clients and guests, schedule and confirm client meetings, answer and screen calls, assist with new client files, prepare mail, etc.)
  • Responsible for conducting and maintaining inventory of the firm’s supplies

Job Requirements:

  • College degree (completed or in process)
  • 2 years job experience (legal experience a plus)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter
  • People-oriented individual with excellent judgment
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
