Job description

About Us

Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65, yet prevention and response systems remain outdated and ineffective. At Sage, we've built a modern way to understand when residents need help-combining resident-facing alert systems with software that enables caregivers to triage and respond quickly.

Sage is a small, tight-knit team of ambitious, multi-disciplinary operators. We are a software-enabled, mission-driven company focused on solving problems that directly impact our customers and the people they care for. We work hard and move quickly, but we also believe in building something enduring-treating the journey as a marathon, not a sprint.

About this Role

The Demand Generation Manager will own pipeline-driving marketing efforts at Sage. This role is responsible for developing and executing campaigns across channels, improving conversion throughout the funnel, and building repeatable systems that scale growth.

This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role. You'll partner closely with Growth, Sales, and RevOps to ensure marketing programs translate directly into pipeline and revenue. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative-someone who moves quickly, tests rigorously, and continuously iterates based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute integrated marketing campaigns end-to-end across channels to drive pipeline growth
  • Drive paid media performance (Meta, LinkedIn, Google) and manage external vendors to optimize conversion and cost efficiency
  • Improve funnel conversion (lead demo opportunity) through testing, lifecycle programs, and inbound optimization
  • Develop and scale SEO and content strategy to increase qualified inbound demand
  • Track performance, run structured experiments, and continuously iterate to improve campaign impact and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-7+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or lifecycle marketing in a B2B environment
  • Strong hands-on experience executing campaigns across paid, email/lifecycle, and organic channels
  • Experience managing paid media channels (LinkedIn, Google, Meta) and working with external vendors or agencies
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and drive improvements in conversion and pipeline outcomes
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales and RevOps teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms
  • Strong understanding of SEO and content-driven growth strategies
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve marketing execution and workflows
  • Background in healthcare, senior living, or adjacent industries

Benefits and Pay

Our headquarters are located in New York City's Union Square. We believe in cross-team collaboration and have designed our processes to encourage participation from all. While we take our mission seriously, we don't take ourselves too seriously-we regularly host offsites, outings, and team meals to connect as people, not just colleagues.

We are an in-office culture with flexibility for up to 2 remote days per week. We offer competitive base compensation along with stock options. The expected annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$160,000 USD, depending on experience and performance in the interview process.

Our benefits include fully-paid health and dental insurance, vision coverage, access to premium primary and urgent care, and online medical providers. We also offer a flexible time off policy, 7 paid holidays, and a company-wide winter break.

EEO Statement

We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws.
