DIRECTOR, DEMAND GENERATION - CPI SECURITY
Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Director, Demand Generation will lead strategic demand generation, lead nurture, and sales enablement programs for CPI Security. This role is responsible for driving marketing-qualified leads and supporting significant revenue growth by partnering with sales, product, and content teams. The Director will also oversee a team member dedicated to lifecycle and retention journeys, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud for personalized customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the security and smart home industry, capable of developing insightful, data-driven campaigns for both residential and commercial segments.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Demand Generation Campaigns
  • Develop and execute integrated inbound and outbound campaigns (digital content, paid media, SEO/SEM, direct response) to generate qualified leads for CPI Security's solutions.
  • Partner with brand, product marketing, and content teams to create compelling messaging and creative that connects buyer challenges with CPI's unique offerings.
  • Manage agency relationships and track campaign performance to optimize lead quality and conversion.

Nurture & Sales Enablement
  • Design and implement lead nurture strategies to move prospects through the buyer's journey from awareness to Marketing Qualified Lead.
  • Oversee a team member focused on developing and optimizing lifecycle and retention journeys, with a particular emphasis on maximizing engagement and value through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop sales enablement materials and tools that support sales teams in converting leads and appointments, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and business challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing operations to analyze lead performance and refine strategies for continuous improvement.

Other Responsibilities
  • Communicate program activities, results, and insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of security and smart home industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Manage marketing budget and agency relationships.
  • Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals.

Position Requirements
  • 8-10 years progressive experience in B2C and B2B demand generation, acquisition, and nurture, preferably in home security, smart home, or home services.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Deep knowledge of the residential and commercial security industry.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing innovative digital customer acquisition programs focused on revenue growth.
  • Experience with direct mail campaigns, marketing automation platforms (especially Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
