Job description

About Us

Orkes is a platform for developers to build durable, distributed event driven applications.  Based on the popular open source orchestration engine Conductor, Orkes lets developers focus on faster go to market with applications, scaling them to handle billions of workflows without having to worry about failures, scalability or visibility into the executions.

At Orkes, we are redefining business process orchestration, and demand generation is a key driver of our growth. As a Demand Generation Manager, you will play a critical role in executing and optimizing multi-channel marketing programs to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth. You'll leverage digital channels, ABM strategies, and in-person events to connect with our ideal customers and accelerate their journey with Orkes.

Your Day-to-Day at Orkes:

  • Develop and execute demand generation campaigns across digital channels, including paid search (Google, Meta), LinkedIn, and other performance marketing platforms.
  • Partner closely with the SDR team to drive account-based marketing (ABM) programs and engage high-value accounts.
  • Continuously test, measure, and optimize campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine targeting, messaging, and execution.
  • Plan and execute in-person events, including trade shows, industry conferences, and field events, ensuring seamless coordination and maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our audience.
  • Own pipeline goals, ensuring marketing-driven leads and sales qualified opportunities (SQLs) contribute meaningfully to revenue growth.

Qualities That Will Help You Succeed:

  • 3+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing, ideally within a VC-backed startup environment at the Series B, C, or D stage, with a proven track record of driving pipeline growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience running growth experiments across demand channels, performing A/B testing, and presenting performance insights and recommendations to senior executives.
  • Expert in paid search, and hands-on experience with LinkedIn Ads, and other digital channels.
  • Deep understanding of ABM strategies, including account selection, personalized campaigns, and sales alignment.
  • Experience planning and executing in-person events with measurable impact on lead generation and pipeline acceleration.
  • Strong analytical skills-comfortable with data analysis, A/B testing, and reporting to optimize performance.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a passion for experimentation and a bias for action.

You Will Have a Fast Start If:

  • You have worked in B2B SaaS marketing, particularly in developer-focused or enterprise technology markets.
  • You have executed campaigns on both Paid Search and LinkedIn without any agency support.
  • You have reduced your company's reliance on paid ads by leveraging an ABM approach.
  • You are proficient with Hubspot (our CRM), 6Sense and other Martech tools.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy building programs from the ground up.

The requirements listed in the job descriptions are guidelines. You don't have to satisfy every requirement or meet every qualification listed. If your skills are transferable we would still love to hear from you.
