Introduction:
Create an experience using your culinary skills and experience. Power's Inn and Pub and The Barn at Power's is a family run business that knows our success is due to the commitment of our employees. We are seeking a skilled and experienced catering chef to join our team on a part-time basis and work beside our Head Chef at The Barn at Power's. We host weddings, retirement parties, showers and many other events with buffet offerings. The individual must be able to work weekends. The right person will be responsible for prepping, cooking, serving guests on the buffet line and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, work well with team members and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to specified recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management
  • Follow all safety, sanitation and health regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in working in a catering kitchen environment (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Works well with all team members
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Must work weekends
