Job description

The Culinary Chef is responsible for preparing food in sufficient quantities to cover all service requirements, timing preparation to meet service schedules, and handling food in portion control to prevent food waste and assure high quality products. The Culinary Chef assists with assembly and delivery of patient trays and serves as a line worker or cashier in cafeteria serving line. The Culinary Chef will provide service and interact with patients/customers of all ages. Assists with care and cleanliness of equipment. May assist with instruction and over-sight of Culinary Assistant employees assigned to assist in food preparation and cleanliness of related work area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, every other weekend Hours: 10:30AM - 7:00 PM
