About the Role:

The Catering Sous Chef plays a key role in supporting the Production Chef and Executive Sous Chef to ensure timely execution, quality, and presentation of food for high-volume events. This position takes ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, including delegating production, supporting scheduling and labor management, and leading teams to successfully execute all Banquet Event Orders. The Catering Sous Chef will mentor and train staff, lead or support Back of House teams at off-site events and collaborate with procurement to ensure high-quality ingredients are delivered on time. This role also contributes to menu development, recipe standardization, and maintaining inspection-ready kitchens, all while fostering a positive, high-energy team culture.
