Overview
The Business Development Analyst supports the firm's business development and marketing efforts. The Business Development Analyst reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development with oversight from the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and is a part of a highly collaborative team that works in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
  • Champion development of indicative and detailed financial models, including utility savings projections and pro forma P&L economics
  • Translate technical inputs (energy savings, ECMs, load profiles) into financial outputs (cash flow, payback, P&L impact)
  • Synthesize complex analyses into clear, concise takeaways for both technical and non-technical audience
  • Contribute to sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to support client decision-making
  • Develop polished, client-ready materials including presentations, executive summaries, and memos
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of diligence materials
  • Create materials for recurring internal and client meetings (origination and milestone tracking)
  • Drives accountability by monitoring and ensuring on-time completion of action items and deliverables for all stakeholders
    Orchestrates collaboration among engineering, financial analytics, project management, capital markets, and operations teams to ensure seamless project advancement
  • Collaborate on recurring internal and client - facing meetings, including origination and milestone tracking workstreams
  • Gathers needed information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support .client-facing materials, including RFQ/RFP responses, presentations, and other written deliverables
  • Develop and deliver tailored messaging that clearly articulates value, risk transfer, and strategic alignment
  • Ensures optimal organization, presentation, and articulation of solution or qualifications in RFQ/ RFP responses and oversees incorporation of key messaging that clarifies the strengths of ENFRA's offer, including any differentiators.
  • Reviews proposal content for clarity, consistency, and responsiveness to RFP/RFQ requirements.
  • Ensures high-quality written materials by rigorously proofreading and editing for clarity, correctness, and consistency.
  • Research and gather information on clients, potential clients, project opportunities, utility programs, and targeted markets to obtain leads
  • Research financial, industry, and competitor trends
  • Stay informed on regulatory, tax credit (e.g., ITC), and market dynamics impacting EaaS adoption
  • Utilize and maintain all aspects of EWay CRM, including internal milestone tracking and prospective client engagement
  • Attends regular meetings to discuss business development strategies
  • Attend networking opportunities at industry organization events such as HFMA and Becker's Conference

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering , Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in banking, accounting, not-for-profit healthcare, or real estate industry
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Professional interpersonal skills - there is significant interaction with all levels of staff

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Financial modeling experience preferred
  • Interest in energy, infrastructure, sustainability or healthcare

Travel Requirements
  • 10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

Pay Range
USD $79,542.00 - USD $106,173.00 /Yr.
