Job Summary:

The Business Development Analyst supports strategic growth initiatives across the company's hospitality and lifestyle service divisions, including Spa, Residential, Fitness, Commercial Real Estate, and Procurement. This role is responsible for evaluating new business opportunities, supporting client expansion efforts, analyzing market trends, and building financial models that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with hospitality industry knowledge and an understanding of owner/operator relationships, management agreements, procurement models, and amenity-driven service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Market Analysis

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across luxury hospitality, multifamily residential, mixed-use developments, fitness, wellness, and commercial real estate sectors
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive landscape, management fee structures, procurement opportunities, and emerging hospitality concepts
  • Analyze pipeline opportunities including hotels, resorts, residential towers, wellness clubs, branded residences, and commercial developments

Financial Analysis & Business Modeling

  • Build financial models, pricing analyses, and ROI assessments for management agreements, procurement opportunities, and new service line expansions
  • Support underwriting of new business opportunities, including revenue projections, labor models, margin analysis, and EBITDA contribution
  • Analyze contract economics across Spa, Fitness, Residential, and Procurement engagements

Pipeline & Business Development Support

  • Partner with Business Development leaders to manage opportunity pipeline, track deal stages, and support proposal development
  • Prepare RFP responses, pitch materials, business cases, and executive presentations for prospective clients and ownership groups
  • Support due diligence and financial analysis for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, and Division Leaders to align growth opportunities with operational capabilities
  • Track KPIs related to pipeline conversion, project profitability, contract performance, and revenue realization
  • Support annual strategic planning and long-range growth initiatives across all divisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field
  • 2--5 years of experience in business development, strategy, investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or corporate finance
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence tools preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience in private equity-backed, high-growth, or multi-site service organizations
