Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Business Analyst(s) and Product Owner(s) with requirement gathering and other tasks as assigned to complement standard agile practices.
  • Collaborate with end users, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other business stakeholders.
  • Create effective documentation to support the learning and knowledge transfer between business and IT team members.
  • Support tasks for projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide daily client communication to problem-solve and support end users with time-sensitive needs.
  • Support data validation and analysis. 

 Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study. In lieu of a degree, 3 or more years of business analyst and/or financial services/life insurance industry experience.
  • At least one year of experience functioning in an Agile environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and make quality decisions within the scope of responsibility.
  • Prior experience preferred with industry-related software: MS Office, JIRA, SharePoint, and/or other web-based applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
