ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Support Engineer work focuses on provide specialized technical assistance to dealers and company's stakeholders in order to facilitate resolution to complex product technical concerns and workshop tools.May provide onsite training for customer support personnel.Lead level is a specialist in Technical Support Engineering, typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 6 years or more relevant experience).Provide technical support and technical problem solving on issues reported by the market.Visit markets and customers to support when there are reported technical problems.Conduct root cause analysis for product quality issues detected, define containment action when applicable and follow-up solution effectiveness.Utilize data acquisition and analysis tools.Expert level knowledge necessary in data acquisition and data analysis in diagnosing truck issues.Expert level knowledge necessary in the design and development of Class8 and other company's trucks' powertrain, chassis, and electrical/electronic systems, as well as in-depth knowledge of truck troubleshooting & repair and NA workshop service practices.
Requirements:Requires 8 years or more relevant experience as Technical Support Engineer work focuses on providing specialized technical assistance to dealers and The Company's stakeholders in order to facilitate resolution to complex product technical concerns and workshop tools. Expert level knowledge necessary in data acquisition and data analysis in diagnosing truck issues. Expert level knowledge necessary in the design and development of The Company's Class8 truck powertrain, chassis, and electrical/electronic systems, as well as in-depth knowledge of The Company's truck troubleshooting & repair and NA workshop service practices.
