Program Overview

The IEM Rotational Development Program is designed to provide early-career professionals with meaningful exposure to core functions that drive our business. Through hands-on experience across key areas - Sales, Estimating, Production, and Execution & Delivery - participants gain a comprehensive understanding of how IEM operates from concept to customer delivery.
We're seeking individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn - people who take initiative, build strong relationships, and are ready to grow into future leaders at IEM. Participants in the program will engage in project-based learning, contribute to impactful business outcomes, and gain visibility with mentors and senior leaders across the organization.
Each rotation is designed to build both technical expertise and professional capability, offering increasing responsibility and depth with every step. By the end of the program, participants will have developed foundational experience, cross-functional insight, and confidence to pursue long-term career growth within IEM.
Rotations:
Sales Rotation
Gain first-hand experience in IEM's customer-facing operations and full sales cycle. Participants will shadow Sales Engineers, review RFQs and proposals, and manage opportunities within the CRM pipeline. This rotation provides a strong foundation in relationship management, sales strategy, and how the Sales team drives business growth at IEM.
Production Rotation
Experience IEM's manufacturing process with hands-on time in the Production and QA/QC departments. Participants will see how IEM's core products are built, tested, and validated to meet rigorous quality standards. This rotation offers practical insight into production workflows, safety, and quality assurance practices.
Execution & Delivery (E&D) Rotation
Learn how customer orders move from handoff to completion within IEM's Execution & Delivery team. Participants will support order processing, documentation, and client tracking while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This rotation builds organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills essential to successful project delivery.
Estimating Rotation
Develop a deep understanding of IEM's products, proposals, and market strategy by supporting the Estimating team. Participants will prepare technical proposals, review design documents, and create compliance materials for clients. This rotation provides exposure to IEM's Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software and its role in supporting efficient, customer-focused solutions.

  • Recent graduates with a Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or business
  • Available to begin full-time employment by July
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
