Job description

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Senior HR Recruiter the Recruiter Assistant is responsible for carrying out several tasks in the HR department such as hiring, recruiting, maintaining employee files, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains department office area in an organized and professional manner including supplies and equipment.
  • Assist Recruiter with scheduling applicants interviews and testing
  • Coordinates the pre-employment onboarding of new hires, i.e., health screening appointments, HR paperwork, employee verifications, and credentialing paperwork packet
  • Creates new hire personnel/medical files
  • Provides administrative support in the preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, confidential materials and various employee issues
  • Maintains application tracking system
  • Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists interna/external customers with any questions, directions to the property, etc.
  • Assists the HR Recruiter with recruitment, initial phone screenings, interviewing, and selection processes and sends appropriate correspondence to all applicants in a timely manner.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR department.
  • Preps new hire orientation programs/trainings.
  • Works closely with all employees to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Maintains a daily log of important information to share with the department.
  • Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • Must have excellent vocabulary, grammar and spelling aptitude.
  • Associates degree is preferred
  • Prior experience in HR is a plus but not required

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Able to travel and attend professional meetings, conferences, trainings and clinic sites.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability be highly organized.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires prolonged sitting at a computer, some bending, lifting, stooping and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopy machine, telephone, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight.
