  • Coordinate law school interview programs, job postings, recruiting calendars, interview schedules, candidate selections, interview materials, callback meetings, and post-interview communications
  • Maintain accurate candidate, law school, and recruiting records, including electronic files, recruiting statistics, outcome forms, surveys, and reporting
  • Coordinate callback and return visit logistics, including scheduling interviews, arranging candidate meetings, preparing materials and gifts, processing expenses, and coordinating cross-billing
  • Partner with attorneys, associates, law schools, career services offices, and internal teams to coordinate recruiting events, candidate outreach, interviews, and other recruiting initiatives
  • Support Summer Associate Program administration, including onboarding, background checks, transcripts, biographies, orientation, welcome events, iManage files, and Summer Associate Weekend logistics
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates and summer associates throughout the recruiting process while assisting with recruiting reports, hiring goals, surveys, exit interviews, and other Legal Recruiting projects

Qualifications for Legal Recruiting Assistant:

  • Bachelor's degree required; strong academic record preferred
  • Relevant experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, human resources, professional services, or administrative roles preferred
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing deadlines, and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong judgment, professionalism, and the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, candidates, law schools, and administrative staff at all levels
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with recruiting, legal personnel, applicant tracking, or HR systems such as PeopleSoft or iCIMS is a plus
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn new applications, synthesize information, and proactively resolve issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive candidate information, and work overtime as needed during peak recruiting periods
