Job description


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Sort through UPS shipment daily and ensuring that packages are delivered to correct department, cabinet, or storage area.
 
  • Verify the bin locations in E10 for all purchased components and ensure that the components are delivered to the proper bin or location.
 
  • Maintaining proper bin levels for purchased components and keeping the area clean and organized.
 
  • Performs monthly purchased component cycle counts.
 
  • Responsible for all delivery and pickup of subcontract goods using company vehicle.
 
  • Run errands as needed to businesses such as Home Depot, Meijer, etc.
 
  • Must successfully complete fork truck training and hold a valid fork truck license.
 
  • All other duties assigned.

Supervisory Duties:
This position has no Supervisory duties.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations: The position requires the employee to successfully complete the fork truck training session and hold a valid fork truck license.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routing reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with vendors and employees in the organization.
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume.
