This Purchasing Coordinator role is ideal for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working between the office and warehouse floor. If you enjoy coordinating materials, working with vendors, and supporting production teams, this could be a strong fit.

This established wood furniture manufacturer produces high-quality products using in-house production processes. The team works closely across purchasing, production, and leadership to ensure materials are available and operations run smoothly. The environment is hands-on, team-oriented, and focused on reliability and clear communication. This role is fully onsite in Knox, Indiana.

This Purchasing Coordinator position offers stable, full-time employment with consistent hours that align with production. You will work directly with leadership and supervisors, gaining exposure to supplier management, inventory control, and purchasing strategy. Early Fridays provide a strong work-life balance, and performance-based growth opportunities are available.

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:
• Source and purchase raw materials, hardware, finishes, foam, fabrics, and other manufacturing supplies
• Conduct weekly inventory checks and manage cycle counts to prevent material shortages
• Enter purchase orders, receive items, and process bills in QuickBooks
• Communicate with supervisors, vendors, and customers regarding material availability and delivery timelines
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery concerns

Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 5:00am - 1:30pm

Compensation: $25-30/hr, based on experience

Purchasing Coordinator Qualifications:
• 1+ year of experience in purchasing or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory management
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, including purchase orders and receiving
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with supervisors and vendors
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in both office and warehouse settings
