BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Procurement Coordinator / Purchasing Buyer in Indianapolis, IN 46204


Job Title: Procurement Coordinator / Purchasing Buyer

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour (W2)

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 40 hours/week

Work Type: Hybrid (Training onsite, then 2 days onsite / 3 days remote)


Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support procurement operations, including data analysis, supplier onboarding, and contract management. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Support RFPs and competitive bidding processes

Analyze bids, spending data, and procurement metrics

Assist with supplier onboarding and database management

Support contract management system and documentation

Purchase goods/services and identify cost-saving opportunities

Maintain reports and provide procurement insights

Handle vendor setup and procurement-related communications


Requirements:

High school diploma required; Bachelorโ€™s preferred

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively

Experience with Oracle or procurement systems (preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
