Job Title: Purchasing Agent

Job Description

We are seeking an onsite, dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. This role is essential for handling large Purchase Orders, which include 100-150 lines each and require manual entry.

Responsibilities

  • Enter purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow standard work procedures and guidelines.
  • Utilize Excel and Outlook for data entry and communication.
  • Communicate effectively via phone and email.
  • Ensure data accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit a driven attitude and a strong work ethic.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with inventory purchasing and management.
  • Proficiency in Purchase Requisitions.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
