Procurement Clerk

As a Procurement Clerk you will support the Procurement Department and business units by managing and maintaining our source data from our ERP, vendor safety, sourcing and invoice software’s. As well as other procurement related files.


What You’ll Do:

Analytics:

Support Procurement Specialists by providing data analytics for new sourcing events. Generate reports on price book compliance and use, vendor spend by accounting codes, department, well/zone, commodity type, functional area, etc.

 

Generate reports to measure KPI performance. Communicate KPI performance and grade improvement opportunities to Procurement leadership.

 

Sourcing:

Administer sourcing events. Manage the data entry into the sourcing platform. Monitor bid performance, respond to questions, and compile bids into a formal bid summary.

 

Invoicing:

Verify, code, reconcile, and approve invoices, credit card transactions and field tickets in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Purchase Order Management:

Administer purchase order creation, PO receipts and reconcile PO payables.

 

Vendor and Data Management:

Participate in the vendor set up process to include onboarding new vendors and updating existing vendor records.

Participate in vendor relationship management, identifying cost-saving opportunities to support department goals.

 

Responsible for maintaining source data in ERP. Updating KPI data for preferred vendor, sourcing events, and vendor categories.


About You:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in supply chain.
  • 0-6 months related experience and/or training in supply chain and/or procurement.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have entry level excel skills (sum, filters, formatting, tables).
  • Entry level Microsoft suite skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Type 40 WPM.
  • Work within deadlines and on multiple items at the same time.
  • Can communicate to individuals up/down/across and outside of the organization via written and oral form professionally.
