Job description

The Part-time Central Supply Director will work 30 hours weekly, 60 hours biweekly. If the candidate is the right fit, there will be additional hours and/or advancements offered to you. 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CENTRAL SUPPLY CLERK:

  • Responsible for planning and directing the procurement of nursing supplies
  • Purchase supplies from an approved vendor and formulary list
  • Ensure that orders are confirmed and correct and handle shipping errors or returns of damaged merchandise.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels
  • Organize storage areas
  • Practice safe working habits
  • Perform secretarial duties for committees of the facility as directed
  • Stock supplies
  • Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Order specialized equipment or supplies
