Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Procurement Clerk to join our growing team in Irvine, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to launch a career in procurement, supply chain, or operations. The Procurement Clerk will support the purchasing department by processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor records, tracking deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and eager to learn in a collaborative business environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Create, process, and monitor purchase orders in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, quotations, and delivery updates.
  • Track order status and follow up on outstanding shipments.
  • Maintain vendor files, contracts, and procurement documentation.
  • Verify purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding purchasing needs and order status.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and maintain supplier information.
  • Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and receiving documents.
  • Support inventory replenishment activities and assist with demand planning.
  • Generate procurement reports and maintain purchasing records.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience.
  • Internship or relevant coursework in purchasing or supply chain is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
