Description:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC (ATS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Issue Clerk to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico.

The Issue Clerk is responsible for providing efficient laundry services and managing the stock and issuance of clothing items. This position involves maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of clothing items, and facilitating the delivery of clean and appropriate clothing to the designated personnel. The Issue Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of the organization by ensuring that employees have access to clean and properly fitting clothing as per their job requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing items.
  • Maintain inventory records of all clothing items, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Receive requests for clothing items and issue them to employees following established procedures.
  • Ensure that all issued clothing items are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Inspect returned clothing items for damages, wear and tear, and cleanliness, and take appropriate actions such as repair, replacement, or laundering.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, storage spaces, and workstations.
  • Follow established safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all staff and students, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on the organization's policies, procedures, and clothing requirements to effectively perform the job responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive Pay, PTO, Health Benefits
This position pays a base hourly rate of $17.75 per hour, plus an additional $5.09 per hour in Health & Welfare (H&W) benefits, in accordance with the applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements.
