Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Associate Procurement Manager! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Whatever your title, whatever your role - it always comes back to this: we're a farmer-owned co-op where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.

Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since. Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and strategic sourcing activities of indirect categories within our Cooperative. Your focus will be on developing and executing category strategies, negotiating contracts with suppliers, optimizing cost savings and maintaining quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives and help build a high-achieving supply chain.

Additionally, you will work with internal business stakeholders to manage supplier relationships to ensure adherence to contract requirements.A Day in the Life...Assists in building strategies for assigned categories to support improvements in cost effectiveness and supplier service levels and quality while focusing on mitigating risk.Executes category sourcing strategies including RFIs and RFPs, develops selection criteria and drives optimal supplier selections in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Conducts supplier negotiations and contracting, and coordinates with stakeholders on program implementation and ongoing supplier management.Researches and provides information on category trends and best practices.Actively seeks opportunities to streamline business processes.What We Are Looking For: Required Manufacturing-related experience (consumer/food/beverage preferred)Contract negotiation/contract development and review experienceERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.) and S2P system (e.g., Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, etc.) experienceStrategic sourcing and supplier relationship experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEducation:Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)Work Experience:At least 3 Years of ExperienceAnnual Salary:$87,400 - $120,230The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.We value and appreciate what makes you unique and will consider a variety of factors when determining an offer.These factors include, but are not limited to, your skills and experience, external and internal benchmarks, as well as overall company considerations.Certain positions may be eligible for short-term and long-term incentive rewards.
