Job description

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support procurement, MRO, Maintenance, Repair and Operations, by helping place purchase orders against established contracts, coordinating supplier onboarding and qualification activities, maintaining supplier records, and providing analytical support to the procurement team. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to support sourcing initiatives, contract management, project tracking, and continuous improvement efforts while developing an understanding of procurement systems, market dynamics, and company operations.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Help place large purchase orders and small-ticket purchases against established contracts while considering quality, supplier reliability, and business urgency.
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding order status and obtain required certifications and documentation upon delivery.
  • Support the onboarding of new suppliers by collecting, reviewing, and verifying required information and documentation.
  • Manage supplier qualification activities, including evaluating supplier capabilities and compliance with company standards.
  • Support contract administration and supplier agreement management through Contract Lifecycle Management systems.
  • Assist the procurement team with project tracking and value realization reporting through Clarizen.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with procurement team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and maintain procurement documentation and records.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support procurement projects, supplier evaluations, and business initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge of SAP processes, procurement data, and system capabilities.
  • Develop an understanding of market trends, cost drivers, and supplier dynamics.
  • Develop an understanding of company requirements, capabilities, processes, and operational constraints.
