Job description

Our client is looking for a Procurement This position will start as a contract position, with the possibility of going longer-term and permanent. Competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $45, commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from vendor identification and negotiation to contract management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Required:


  • Must have experience in government/municipal procurement
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
