Core Responsibilities include:
Payroll Processing:
  • Collect, verify, and enter employee time and attendance data.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (e.g., taxes, benefits).
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls, depending on company schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages through direct deposit or checks.

Compliance & Reporting:
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws, including tax withholdings and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and file payroll-related tax documents (e.g., W-2s, 1099s).
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.

Recordkeeping & Audits:
  • Maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Employee Support:
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
  • Educate employees on payroll processes and policies when necessary.

Additional Role Highlights:
  • Travel will be required nationwide. When not on the road, technicians will work with the local operating company in their region.
  • A partial tool set is provided by the company.
  • All required PPE is supplied by the Air National Services team
  • Technicians receive a company-issued corporate credit card for job-related expenses.
  • Extensive on-the-job training is provided at no cost, with opportunities to expand skills and grow over time.

Experience & Requirements:
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems(e.g., ADP WFN, Paychex).
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus.

Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ,particularly Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • May require occasional overtime during payroll processing periods.
