Spectra Gutter Systems is looking for an Outside Sales Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned territory supporting one branch location. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, promoting company products and services, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The Sales Manager serves as the primary company representative in the field, partnering with customers, contractors, builders, distributors, and other industry professionals to expand market presence and achieve sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities while growing and retaining existing customer relationships.
  • Manage an assigned territory to achieve sales, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and business development activities.
  • Promote company products and services while identifying opportunities to expand customer accounts.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and successful project execution.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer activity, forecasting, and sales pipelines while traveling throughout the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of outside sales, territory management, account management, or business development experience required.
  • Building products, construction, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry product samples, marketing materials, and other sales-related items up to 50 lbs.
