This is an entry level position for a focused, driven, and motivated individual that has little to no sales experience. This program lasts 8-12 months with our goal being to develop future Outside Sales Representatives and leaders for our company. Interested applicants must be willing to relocate after successful completion of the Outside Sales Trainee program.
Outside Sales Trainee Responsibilities:
- Live our mission statement
- Promote and sell Lansing's products and services
- Utilize showroom as a sales tool to assist customers
- Help develop the growth of the branch by supporting inside and outside sales team in securing new business through B2B sales of siding windows, gutter, and other exterior building products
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships
- Educate customers on Lansingโs products and services
- Help customers increase business while improving their profits
- Opportunity to advance into outside sales or management positions at locations across the country
Outside Sales Trainee Qualifications:
- Must be open to future relocation as part of this program
- Demonstrated interest in sales, based on previous jobs or on academic preparation
- High energy, self-motivated, and hungry for success
- All-around business professional with exceptional telephone etiquette
- Willing to go the "extra mile" to provide a high level of customer service
- Must be able to work well individually and on a team
- Strong communication and social skillsย
- Ability to build quick rapport and develop long-term relationships with customers
- Committed to setting and achieving goals
- College degree (preferred, but not required)
Pay: $55k+
