Network Support Engineer
Position Overview:
As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining network hardware and software for our customers remote or onsite. You will work closely with our sales team and R&D departments to provide timely support and solutions to network-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to various data center locations across the U.S. to provide technical support and resolve operational issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, providing prompt resolution to minimize downtime with our support team.
  • Configure and maintain network hardware and software, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with other R&D team members to implement network upgrades and improvements.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing network connectivity issues and related concerns.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • Proven experience as a Network Support Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, systems, and hardware. Basic proficiency in network configuration, IP address assignment, and basic network debugging.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems, including command-line interfaces, system administration, and network tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address equipment issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
