Overview
We are seeking a Network Support Engineer (Voice Infrastructure) to join a large enterprise technology organization supporting critical voice and network systems. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 support for voice technologies, including phones, routers, and camera systems, while helping maintain network infrastructure across a complex enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting WAN environments, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and working within large-scale enterprise networks. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineering teams while building expertise in voice networking, SIP technologies, and cloud-based network solutions.
What You'll Do
  • Provide Tier 1 operational support for enterprise voice and network infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain voice systems, including phones, routers, switches, and related network devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, application, and network-related issues to restore service and minimize downtime.
  • Participate in the installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain network connectivity, performance, and security.
  • Support enterprise network services, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and network security solutions.
  • Follow established operational procedures, documentation standards, and change management processes.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates and service records.
  • Partner with engineers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • Apply security and regulatory standards to support secure and reliable network solutions.
  • Receive guidance from leadership while exercising independent judgment in day-to-day support activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Network Engineering, Network Support, or related infrastructure experience.
  • Experience supporting Wide Area Networks (WAN).
  • Experience working within a large enterprise network environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network support fundamentals.
  • Ability to document technical issues, updates, and resolutions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise voice network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of configuring and supporting enterprise-level Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience providing operational support for network infrastructure technologies.
  • Understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and SIP-based voice networks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and networking concepts.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer support skills.
