Role Summary
CEdge is sourcing a mid-level Core GEOINT SME to support GTLSS instruction, curriculum maintenance, and technical expertise for Core GEOINT learning solutions. The role requires strong foundational GEOINT, intelligence communications, critical thinking, and analytic tradecraft capability.
Important: Candidates must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
Detailed Description
A Mid-level SME shall be able to build upon the knowledge taught at the introductory GEOINT Tradecraft learning level (1000), in order to effectively handle fundamental (2000) GEOINT Tradecraft learning level tasks. At this level the SME shall have a thorough understanding of the concepts and skills related to their content area(s) and can apply these skills in routine and none routine situations. They shall be able to apply tradecraft skills through problem-based exercises culminating in exams. They shall demonstrate solid tradecraft skills and an understanding of how their tradecraft contributes to addressing key intelligence questions. A Mid-Level SME is primarily focused on providing support to Fundamental (2000) GEOINT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, with a secondary focus on Intermediate (3000) GEONT Tradecraft Learning Level courses, both levels within the Core GEOINT content area.
Primary Responsibilities
• Deliver NGC GEOINT curriculum through approved modalities such as classroom, blended, synchronous/asynchronous online, video, and performance support.
• Complete course preparation and session management activities before, during, and after course delivery, including classroom/session setup, coordination, student support, and closeout activities.
• Support NGC instructor certification, qualification, and sustainment expectations, including course qualification activities and status reporting as required.
• Maintain and update assigned courseware/curriculum materials, including annual or ad hoc maintenance tasks assigned through the NGC Course Task Tracker.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support development, dry-run, pilot, qualification, and launch of new or revised NGC learning solutions.
• Collaborate with Course Managers, Branch Chiefs, Curriculum Advisors, and learning development stakeholders to ensure course continuity, quality, and alignment with approved curriculum.
Required / Desired Qualifications
Education / Knowledge Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired; minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Required Experience Minimum 5 years of experience providing expertise in the applicable GEOINT tradecraft, methodology, technology, or related subject matter area.
Instructor Readiness Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification is part of the LCAT qualification framework; candidates with classroom or adult-learning delivery experience should be prioritized.
Travel Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
