Job description

This is an on-site position at our office at the southern edge of Sherman, TX. We are conveniently located on US-75 near the Sherman/Howe border.
As the Intake Manager, you will lead the intake team to ensure timely, high-quality patient admissions and an excellent client experience. In this role, you will oversee referral management, intake workflows, and staff performance while keeping daily operations running smoothly.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead daily team huddles and individual check-ins to set goals, monitor progress, and support staff development
  • Train and coach Intake Coordinators, including auditing calls and providing feedback to improve service quality
  • Oversee referral pipeline to ensure timely response and high conversion rates
  • Provide direct intake coordination support as needed, such as processing referrals or assisting with urgent calls
  • Collaborate with Branch Directors, Business Development, and clinical staff to ensure smooth assessments and care starts
  • Respond to urgent intake issues with a calm, client-first approach
  • Organize workflow, schedules, and intake processes across assigned regions
  • Review payroll, timekeeping, and bonus reports for accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Maintain intake-related reports and share updates with leadership
Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in intake, admissions, patient access or similar role
  • Previous supervisory, lead, or training experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills with a client-first mindset
