Job description

The Intake Coordinator shall serve as the primary point of contact for program inquiries and walk-ins, conduct intake interviews, and screen participants for eligibility and programs. The role includes explaining program services and expectations, completing and maintaining accurate intake documentation in HMIS or Apricot, and identifying immediate needs with appropriate referrals. The Intake Coordinator shall also manage intake schedules, track participant flow, prepare basic intake reports, uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, and maintain a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and welcoming intake environment.
