Institutional Inside Sales Representative
POSITION SUMMARY
The Institutional Inside Sales Representative drives sales growth within an assigned book of business by providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating elite value to existing customers in a B2B environment. This position collaborates with assigned outside sales representatives to deliver comprehensive HVAC/R products and solutions, while independently managing customer relationships and consulting clients through the entire sales process.( Remote Position)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate sales revenue related to HVAC/R products and solutions; follow up on quotes and leads to close deals and achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Develop and implement account penetration strategies, including regular business reviews for key customers to maximize sales growth
  • Maintain productive relationships with new and existing customers; resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Support customers in quoting, takeoffs, order entry, and coordination for parts, supplies, accessories, and equipment
  • Conduct data mining and proactively reach out to customers to identify opportunities and deliver Carrier Enterprise's value proposition
  • Work with key suppliers on quoting, pricing, and product sourcing while maintaining competitive market information
  • Drive customer education and adoption of CE's Digital Platforms to streamline sales processes and enhance customer service delivery
  • Leverage Salesforce and other tools to document sales management processes and collaborate with assigned outside sales representatives

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years of sales or marketing experience with demonstrated performance history in sales and/or new business development
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect and interact effectively with customers
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as a team member; results-oriented, self-motivated, and goal-driven
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Salesforce or CRM platforms preferred; HVAC/R industry experience a plus
