 INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE IIIOKLAHOMA CITY, OK

In our organization, the Inside Sales Representative III has a critical and challenging role in helping achieve innovation and meeting our commitments as the point of contact for customers, providing a professional response to all customer inquiries to include but not limited to quotations, order processing, and customer contact duties to achieve the OSI-OKC Piper business unit’s goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and review customer inquiries regarding customer requirements and product utilization.
  • Interpret customer requests and determine the suitability of our product for the request.
  • Provide formal quotations to customers based on OSI-OKC Piper’s product using a discount structure or cost-plus basis.
  • Process customer purchase orders by entering sales orders into the Glovia system.
  • Provide customers with product information, order updates, or documentation as appropriate.
  • Investigate returns, determine if they are warranty related, and process the credit memos as appropriate to include but not limited to the negotiation of fees based on the condition and ability to resale the product.
  • Receive and respond to any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Investigate customer complaints to determine the root cause and recommend corrective actions.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to provide the customer with accurate price, delivery, and other information as needed.
  • Provide status updates regarding orders that are outstanding within the facility.
  • Assist other sales team members as needed. Assistance would include but not be limited to assisting with quotations for non-standard products or more technical items and guiding less experienced team members.
  • Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties.
  • Complete all paperwork in required manner and time.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change.
  • Follow and support established HSE programs.
  • Report any unsafe situations to appropriate Management Team member if necessary.
  • All other duties or tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Ability to project a professional company image through both oral and written communications.
  • Ability to gain an excellent knowledge of OSI-OKC Piper products.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to use basic math skills to calculate margins and estimated costs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.
  • Strong problem-solving and business acumen skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to speak, write and read the English language.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
  • Four (4) years of experience in a customer service or sales support setting. Preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Extended walking, sitting, and/or standing.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

  • Frequent use of computer equipment to include but not limited to laptop computer, monitors, keyboard, mouse, scanner, printer, and telephone.
  • Frequent use of company designated software programs to include but not limited to ERP, employee time tracking software, and office productivity software packages.

QUALITY/CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPLICATIONS

  • Directly impacts workplace safety through active participation in OSI-OKC Piper HSE programs and safe work practices.
  • Directly impacts customer satisfaction through direct and indirect customer communications, communication response times, product offerings, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Indirectly impacts quality of product through the coordination of contact review and order entry processes.
