They often make phone calls, send emails, and use customer relationship management (CRM) software to track interactions. The role helps interns gain experience in sales techniques, product knowledge, and effective communication. Interns also learn about the company’s products or services and contribute to overall sales goals while developing their professional skills.

Inside Sales Representative internships are typically open to candidates of various ages, including 22. Age is generally not a barrier, and many interns are in their early twenties or older, especially if they are transitioning careers or gaining experience. Employers value skills, motivation, and relevant knowledge over age for such roles.
