Job Description
We are looking to hire a Customer Service Manager. The Customer Service Manager position is central to the performance of the branch. You'll manage the internal sales team to maximize profitability for the branch, building successful working relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers alike to ensure we consistently deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain accurate records; document all customer discussions and interactions.
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion, supporting stock-take activities to assist where necessary.
  • Develop new and lapsed customer accounts, building strong, effective relationships for the business.
  • Manage the sales team to deliver an excellent customer experience, working towards key Branch profit and sales targets.
  • Support the customer service team to ensure orders are being entered and invoiced correctly and promptly.
  • Ensure the necessary resources are available for quality customer service delivery.
  • Generate customer interest; receive customers in branch, answer telephone inquiries, and visit customer sites to cultivate an interest in the product range.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with the business-related focus required.
  • Customer service experience (1+ years)
  • Personnel management experience (1+ years)
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly shifting environment and a "can-do" attitude to solve any issues customers may present.
  • Effective communication: both written and oral.
  • Ownership of issues until successfully resolved.
