We're hiring a Commissions Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully remote.
The Commissions Analyst supports the technical implementation and ongoing administration of EquipmentShare's sales commission programs. This role translates commission plan structures into code and helps maintain the data pipelines and systems that power commission calculations.
The Commissions Analyst partners closely with the commissions team, compensation team, payroll team, and sales leadership to implement commission plan changes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the accurate execution of incentive programs. This role also collaborates with People Analytics, Business Analytics, and Human Resources stakeholders to continuously improve commission processes and reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Compensation team contributor supporting the technical implementation of EquipmentShare's commission programs.
  • Translate commission plan structures and business rules into technical logic and code used in commission calculations.
  • Partner with the commissions team, compensation team, and payroll team to implement and maintain commission program updates.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership and other stakeholders to support commission plan execution and resolve questions related to commission calculations.
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and support the development and deployment of commission-related updates.
  • Create, test, and deploy commission-related code changes.
  • Monitor commission-related data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure accuracy and proactively identify opportunities to improve the commission calculation process.
  • Respond to commission-related questions and concerns from stakeholders including Payroll, Human Resources, Legal, and commission-eligible employees and managers.
  • Support documentation and continuous improvement of commission processes and technical infrastructure.

Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel or GoogleSheets skills

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • At least 2 years SQL experience, required
  • Python experience, preferred
  • Compensation, commissions, or corporate finance exposure, preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and work from a computer for long periods of time.
