We believe that by unlocking the power of people and technology, we can accelerate transformation and achieve extraordinary results. As a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, we guide organizations through complex digital decisions.

About the Role

The Commissions team at Insight is undergoing an exciting transformation focused on innovation, accuracy, and high performance. As a Senior Commissions Analyst, you will do more than just process numbers—you will be a critical thinker who drives the "how" and "why" behind our incentive compensation.

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who is eager to leverage modern technology, including Generative AI, to modernize processes and uncover efficiencies. You will serve as a strategic partner to our sales organization, ensuring the integrity of incentive compensation while helping to build a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission Administration: Calculate and process commission and incentive award payments with precision, ensuring strict adherence to plan provisions.
  • Innovation & AI Adoption: Actively utilize internal AI tools (such as Horizon, Gemini, and Claude) to automate routine workflows, enhance data analysis, and modernize legacy processes.
  • Operational Analysis: Go beyond basic reporting to perform cost analysis, model alternative plan designs, and review Gross Profit (GP) trends. You will be expected to identify the root causes of discrepancies and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Dispute Resolution & Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team, researching and resolving calculation disputes professionally and transparently.
  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to drive operational efficiencies. You will help map "as-is" processes and design "to-be" models to increase profitability and accuracy.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the commissions database to ensure accurate tracking of variable compensation, sales quotas, and personnel changes.
What You’ll Need to Join Insight
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Critical Thinking: We value foundational analytical skills above all else. You must possess the ability to think critically, challenge assumptions, and solve complex problems independently.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a commissions, finance, or data analysis role.
    • Note: While sales compensation experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with strong financial/analytical backgrounds who possess the aptitude to learn quickly.
    • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Technical Aptitude:
    • Strong proficiency in Excel and data modeling.
    • AI Proficiency: Demonstrated interest in or experience with Generative AI tools to accelerate productivity and innovation.
  • Communication & Soft Skills:
    • Articulate Professionalism: Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with sales management.
    • Adaptability: A "hunger" to learn and a willingness to contribute to a team that is evolving and raising the bar on performance.
    • Collaborative Spirit: A strong desire to be part of a connected team environment, engaging in peer-to-peer mentorship and onsite collaboration.
