About the Role

The Senior Commissions Analyst is a subject matter expert responsible for complex payout calculations, reconciliations, and root-cause analysis across multiple plans and segments. As a key builder in the new team, this role establishes operating rigor, mentors analysts, and drives process and automation improvements to ensure accurate and timely payouts.

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex monthly/quarterly calculations, adjustments, clawbacks, and multi-measure crediting.

  • Lead end-to-end close activities: intake validation, exception handling, reconciliation, and payout approval packages.

  • Investigate data/crediting discrepancies; perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive controls.

  • Prepare audit evidence and support SOX control execution; maintain documentation and runbooks.

  • Partner with Systems Admin on UAT, release validation, and configuration fixes.

  • Mentor analysts, perform peer review, and standardize reconciliations and QC steps.

  • Recommend automation/standardization to reduce cycle time and errors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in commissions, payroll operations, revenue operations, or similar.

  • Advanced Excel; working SQL knowledge preferred; experience with a commissions platform (Xactly/Varicent/Spiff/CaptivateIQ/Anaplan).

  • Strong reconciliation, data quality, and documentation discipline.

  • Ability to manage deadlines and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Business, Accounting, Finance, or Analytics.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $107,000 - $145,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
