BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This position is responsible for leading projects or workstreams in gaining in-depth understanding of strategy, organizations, processes, and roadmaps to provide tactical and strategic solutions. The role partners across multiple functions (Business Owners, Process Owners, SMEs, Product Owners, Controls, 2LOD, Technology, etc.) to identify requirements in the design of new processes, operating models, or solutions. This role also drives execution from concept through change implementation and adoption, requiring strong written and verbal communications and project management skills to communicate insights, recommendations, and progress. Comfort with addressing complex issues, processes, and projects, and working in a high-paced, fluid environment is required. This individual will independently own a workstream or project in support of an overall strategic program, with frequent interaction with Senior Managers across the organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Gather input from stakeholders, via interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, workflow and task analysis, ensuring the right questions are asked to inform process enhancements, essential requirements, perform root cause analysis, and problem-solve
  • Review, document, and evaluate business processes and advising and/or developing incremental enhancements to meet strategic goals in client or colleague experience, quality, efficiency, scalability, and risk management goals
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify and drive transformations, including defining solutions and articulating recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
  • Assist with remediating process and control gaps and issues, including analyses of potential enhancements to the original approach, to determine and build the best solution available within constraints and capabilities.
  • Design or re-engineer processes, formulate business requirements and roadmaps to address strategic priorities
  • Create relevant presentations, analysis, or reports to drive and support engagements
  • Establish implementation and adoption plan, including identifying readiness needs (training, user documentation) and tracking metrics for effective change management
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project status to manager and key business stakeholders
  • Manage project and deliverable expectations with key business stakeholders
  • Build, maintain and leverage relationships with stakeholders to drive project outcomes
  • Act as brand ambassador for workstream or program by developing solid working relationships across the organization as to facilitate communication and strategic partnerships.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc assignments and special projects or reporting
  • Support a high-performance environment by fostering an inclusive work environment, helping/elevating peers, and taking ownership of individual developmental goals.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience working in financial services or banking industry

Additional Qualifications
  • Banking Products for Personal & Business clients - knowledge of CNB's offering, particularly those catered to small business clients.
  • Complex analysis, process/solution design
  • Independent project management with complete ownership of a project or workstream
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong stakeholder management, including comfort interacting with executives
  • SQL, Tableau, or other data analytics capability
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
