What You Will Do:
We are looking for a Business Process Analyst to deliver agile project management and end-to-end delivery support for enhancements to a financial system. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with: requirements gathering, user interface (UI) design, user acceptance testing, training, and stakeholder engagement. This individual will partner directly with business stakeholders, end users, and program leadership, report to the Guidehouse project manager, provide in-person support to the client located in Indianapolis, IN or Washington, DC.
Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:
  • Lead or be a member of a team of analysts that apply process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation principles, approaches, and methodologies that lead to increased efficiency or effectiveness in financial and operations management.
  • Experienced in assessing process performance in complex environments, involving linkages between financial, staffing, and other support processes, and operational processes and outcomes.
  • Directs requirement collection and refinement efforts, to include leading and facilitating interviews, surveys, working sessions and focus group studies.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business stakeholders and user representatives to identify, analyze, and document operational and business functional requirements.
  • Analyze business processes, operational workflows, and user needs to develop clear, complete, testable, and traceable requirements.
  • Collaborate with program managers, architects, developers, testers, and subject matter experts to verify requirements are accurately understood, refined, and implemented.
  • Identify requirement gaps, inconsistencies, dependencies, assumptions, and risks, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
    Support user acceptance testing and training activities to confirm capabilities meet stakeholder needs.
  • Provides support for the design and implementation of new or enhancements to business processes.
  • Supports coordination between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Ensures proposed process improvements align to strategic objectives, and initiatives are compliant with appropriate policies, rules and regulations.
  • Experienced in developing realistic and practical implementation plans.
  • Conducts organizational studies and evaluations; conducts work simplification and measurement studies; and prepares operations, training, and procedural manuals to assist management in implementing ways to operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Familiar with developing and interpreting cost analysis, budget plans, and developing and presenting briefings to senior management.

What You Will Need:
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in Business Process Analysis, preferably in finance activities.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability for oral and written communication with senior levels of management and the Customer.

What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Active CBP BI or reciprocity strongly preferred.
  • NINE (9) or more years of professional experience
  • Strong preference for Federal experience
  • Strong preference for financial or accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Agile project management and tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence) preferred
