Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented NetSuite Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the strategic liaison between our business units and the technical IT team. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and optimizing our NetSuite ERP platform to drive operational efficiency, improve reporting, and support scalable growth.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of NetSuite's core capabilities, a strong background in business process mapping, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales) to audit existing workflows, identify pain points, and define business requirements for NetSuite enhancements.
  • System Optimization & Configuration: Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Configure and customize NetSuite fields, page layouts, custom records, workflows (SuiteFlow), saved searches, and dashboards.
  • Process Mapping & Implementation: Design and document "as-is" and "to-be" business processes. Lead or assist with the implementation of new NetSuite modules and third-party integrations (Celigo, Dell Boomi, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive test plans, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, and ensure configurations meet quality standards and business criteria before deployment.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Build and maintain complex saved searches, financial reports, and KPIs to provide actionable data and insights to leadership. Assist with data cleansing and data migration tasks as needed.
  • Training & Support: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide day-to-day user support, troubleshoot system issues, and conduct training sessions or create documentation for onboarding users.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:
    • Profile A: An Accounting or Finance Professional who is a NetSuite power-user OR (mid-tier ERP, Sage, Infor, Dynamics 360,)and wants to pivot into a BA career.
    • Profile B: A solid NetSuite BA or Functional Consultant or NetSuite Admin.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of core NetSuite modules (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Design-to-Build, Revenue Recognition, General Ledger).
    • Hands-on experience creating advanced saved searches, customized dashboards, SuiteFlow (workflows), and custom forms/fields.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of general accounting principles, supply chain logistics, or corporate operational workflows.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business users.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Certifications (Preferred): NetSuite Administrator or NetSuite ERP Consultant certifications are highly desirable.
