Job Summary

The Business Process Analyst Lead / Principal (Advanced) will play a lead role in performing analysis and providing insights leveraging process data from across AEP, with particular focus in Distribution Operations. This role will be engaged in subsequent process improvement and value realization measurement, including KPI / metric development and monitoring in collaboration with business partners. The role will work closely with business partners to understand KPIs and the supporting frameworks for the purposes of sustainability.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Lead analysis and create insights leveraging enterprise process data. Develop and measure subsequent KPIs in collaboration with the business unit to measuring ongoing value to AEP.

  • Use technology to create process workflows and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Initiate enhanced communication notifications at the request of the business and conduct follow-up event reporting as needed.

  • Participate in establishing a healthy culture of continuous process improvement within assigned organizations and across AEP as opportunities arise.

  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process improvement effectiveness while mapping high level organizational processes.

  • Assess project risks and recommend mitigation strategies, leading initiatives to identify business process solutions.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Coach lower-level team members to enhance their skills and achieve objectives.

What We're Looking For:

Business Process Analyst Principal (SG8):

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Business Process, Business, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience (continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics).

OR

Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field with 10 years of relevant experience (continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics).

OR

High School Diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience (continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics).

Business Process Analyst Lead (SG9):

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Business Process, Business, or related field with 10 years of relevant experience (continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics).

OR

Associate's Degree in Project Management, Business Process, Business, or related field with 12 years of relevant experience (continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics).

OR

High School Diploma or GED with 14 years of relevant experience (continuous improvement process activities, operations, project management, or business analytics).

Nice-to-have:

  • Distribution operations exposure and or experience.

  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Power Apps, PowerBI, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization, from subject matter experts to executives.

  • Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of ethical behavior and support for the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy.

  • Travel and On-Call Assignment: Occasional travel (up to 10%) and on-call assignments are required for this position, necessitating flexibility in scheduling and availability.

Business Process Analyst Lead (SG9): $115,126.00 - $149,665.00
