About The Role:

We are currently seeking a Business Process Analyst to join the Operations Strategic Support department. Our team provides process analysis and improvement solutions; utilizing technology like Appian (BPMS), Appian, Automation Anywhere (RPA) and DocuSign (eSignature) to build custom applications that automate enterprise processes. As a Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for business process analysis, business analysis, relationship management, quality assurance and project execution.

The Impact You'll Make:

Business Process Analysis

  • Conduct process discovery and elaboration workshops to document current state processes
  • Utilize six sigma methodologies, like DMAIC, to facilitate process improvements
  • Perform business process gap analyses to meet business unit's desired outcomes
  • Model future state business processes using the BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) 2.0 analytical method

Business Analysis

  • Lead various requirements elicitation techniques including workshops, interviews, and surveys
  • Understand and implement design thinking principles in order to drive application development.
  • Design creative process solutions to client problems that enhance user experiences (UX)
  • Define, refine, and maintain user stories to meet the project goals and objectives
  • Facilitate regular product demonstrations to solicit feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project team members to develop quality sustainable process solutions
  • Familiar with the fundamentals of database design, interpret data and generate visualizations to support analysis

Relationship Management

What You'll Bring To Baird:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering substantial business results. Experience should cover areas of process analysis, business analysis, and project management, preferably within a diversified financial services firm
  • BBA/BS in Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or Finance is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Decision Modeling Notation (DMN)
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
