Job description

The role is responsible for direct sales of Guardiar USA and Guardiar Solutions product while assuming responsibility for driving business growth developing a network of contacts to attract new customers relationships, maintaining relationships, and improving sales within the defined region or sector.

This will include direct customer acquisition, research new market opportunities, product and architectural specification, and other business development activities including direct interaction with customers and business unit management to stablish strategic plans and lead efforts for sales projections and forecasting revenue to achieve business goals.

Essential Duties:

  • Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or video calls meetings. Provides follow-up efforts on leads generated from advertising, trade shows or other market means. Follows-up on quotations by phoning or visiting, the customer according to assigned region/sector.
  • Promotes product offerings through direct sales visits, sales presentations and distribution of product literature adjusting the content of sales presentations by studying the type of customer.

  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of potential customers, establishing, developing, and maintaining professional customer relationships with decision makers to maximize time and effort for optimum results.
  • Work in coordination with Engineering, Project Manager, Sales Support team to ensure proper quotations and subsequent delivery of drawings, purchase orders issues, and communicates with the production team.
  • Utilize IFS- CRM to track all customer contact and keep management informed of sales efforts.
  • Generate monthly operating report for Business Development.
  • Works with business unit and executive management to prioritize strategic initiatives and manages implementation of comprehensive growth strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals for Guardiar products by establishing strategic accounts and business development strategies.
  • Investigates and Identifies competitors and competitors’ representative network in assigned region/sector. Monitor competition by gathering marketing strategies, information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Report this information to the Sales manager to review strategies.
  • Documents findings to Management from research and involvement in industry meetings on the latest market trends. Assists in any written communications, white papers, and articles for publications or exhibitions. Helps marketing staff to improve the effectiveness of Guardiar global communications.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Acts as a liaison with Project Managers and Quality to resolve and close out customer complaints. Through the process of investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Research product technology trends, works with Engineering to ensure Guardiar products is meeting current customer needs and develop strategies to advance Guardiar’ s offering to potential strategic accounts.
  • Researches and tracks competitive technology and commercial strategies of each major customer account. Keeps abreast of key buying factors, strength and weaknesses, and channels to market.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum High School diploma, or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or business administration, marketing, or another related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of Outside Sales and/or Business Development experience; 2 years in fencing, construction, architecture, or other related industry.
  • Experience with CRM software. IFS is a plus.
  • Working knowledge on Office suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams.
